Search Tips

As a general rule, the more information you enter in the search engine, the more precise the results will be.

  • Check your spelling. Misspelling a search keyword can cause you to receive no matching responses.
  • Be Broad. Unless you are looking for a specific program, you will get more results if you avoid getting too narrow in your search criteria.
  • Search More Places. When performing keyword searches, search in 'Eligibility', 'Type of Assistance', and 'Example Projects' to broaden your results.
  • Simplify Your Terms If you are searching by keyword, boil what you want down to a few 'key' terms. If searching for programs relating to repairs to infrastructure damaged in a flood, try searching for simply 'flood damage'.
